How are Suppressors attached to firearms?

primedsteelMost commonly a barrel is threaded to support a suppressor.  Threaded barrels can be made from pre-existing barrels or purchased separately.  In addition to threaded barrels, there are quick-detach components.  Lastly, integral suppressors are silencers that are built as part of the firearm design itself, not needed to be attached or detached.
